The networking of production plants and the recording and analysis of large amounts of machine data form the basis of new digital service and maintenance models. To date, however, both have been considered to be extremely costly and difficult to achieve. Starting with the fact that it was unclear how the data should be collected in the first place, the creation of the data models required a great deal of outside assistance and consulting.
Thanks to ams.machineAnalytics, the burden (and cost) of this part of the project is lifted off your shoulders. Even older systems can be retrofitted and made intelligent quickly and at low cost by capturing the data via the newly developed IoT ConnectBox. Setting up the BI platform for analyzing and processing the aggregated data in the cloud is also a simple and user-friendly process. Flexible workflows and actions can be defined in the business software ams.erp based on the diverse and individual evaluation options. The plant manufacturer is notified in order to check the process and rectify any faults or carry out any modifications to the machine. At the same time, the machine operator can improve the quality of their products if they know the conditions under which the machines perform best. The data could be invoiced by the plant manufacturer as part of a service contract.
